Yverdon Training (OrbisGIS 1.2.2)

From April 2008, the 1st to the 3rd, the OrbisGIS team has been invited at GeoSysin laboratory, HEIG-VD High school, in Yverdon-les-Bains (Switzerland).

The aim of this meeting was to identify commons scientific researches actions in geoinformatic and SDI (Spatial Data Infrastructure).

Two main directions have been proposed :

• visualization : Thematic Layer Descrition (TLD), extended TLD for 3D,
• sharing : map cross publishing, spatial indicators publishing.

OrbisGIS will be used as a common platform to develop methodology and prototypes.

Thanks to the GeoSysin team for their great and pleasant reception and more especially to Daniel Rappo and Olivier Ertz.
